Dear: Valued Parents
In the evening of January 23rd, 2020, the Health Ministry officially announced two cases of Corona Virus (CoV) infection, a kind of large viruses that cause illness from the common cold to the disease severe, life-threatening such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV) in 2002 and Middle East Religion respiratory syndrome (MERS-CoV) in 2012. The two infected patients were both Chinese those have used of public transport, starting from Wuhan to Ha Noi, Nha Trang, Long An and then Ho Chi Minh City is currently ill and is being isolated at Cho Ray Hospital.
Facing the risk of Corona Virus (CoV) that may break out in Vietnam, ICR would like to send a warning and guide the diseasing prevention at centers as follows:
- Frequently clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water;
- If Valued Parents are planning to travel to the risk areas above, please note the prevention measures for yourself and your family.
- Valued Parents and Students who have returned from the above areas, please note those symptoms: cough, fever, sneezing (similar to the common cold) immediately go to the nearest Medical Station to check and at the same time notify to ICR immediately when has been determined.
- Besides all of Valued Parents and students please noted some measures to protect yourself as well as to avoid infecting the community.
During this time, ICR will also immediately build a number of measures up to minimize the risk of Corona Virus transmission to the students and staffs of the center area as follows:
All center areas including lobby, classrooms, restroom… will intensified bactericidal spray frequently.
