phonological awareness

1. RESEARCH-BASED METHODOLOGY

Research has shown that Phonological Awareness is a key factor in determining a child’s likelihood of attaining literacy. Children with strong phonological skills tend to learn to read more quickly and at an advanced level. I Can Read’s methodology is based on 15 years of research by Australian Educational Psychologists, Dr. Tony Earnshaw and Dr. Annabel Sergeant. Our unique methodology teaches students to manipulate sounds first before being exposed to letters and words.
